This is a personal project where I paint things I love about my hometown of New York City. Together with my Spain from A to Z series, these two projects hint at the story of my life lived across borders.

These are painted with acrylic ink on rough paper. Then I scan and clean them up in Photoshop. The animation is done the old-fashioned way: using the straight-ahead technique on the same rough paper, with a lightbox for onion-skinning.
